Ashley MoWet aka China Star is a young artist on the rise from Houston. Born in Dallas and raised in Corpus Christi this up and coming Texas artist began her love for music by writing, rapping out her favorite r & b songs, and choreographing dance moves to her favorite hits as a kid. With dreams of making it as a DJ or in an infamous girl group growing up, her love for writing and rapping grew to become a passion when she moved to Houston to attend college. As a student at the University of Houston she majors in Psychology, Sociology, and Biology and masters her academics but knew her calling was elsewhere. One may not be able to describe her style as anything heard of before. She is known for her in your face sexually explicit rap lyrics but she also encompasses the ability to be soulful and dominate both the r&b and pop worlds. Ashley Moet is definitely an artist on the rise not to be slept on.
