Hello to all good people . Allow me to introduce myself . I am Jason A. Aguirre . Kuritse Uraupiti is my native tribal name . It means White Hawk . I come from a multi heritage family with native bloodlines on both sides . My story is the half breeds tale . Aside from the history of my family , it would take much to long to go into . Born in southern california , I grew up upon the stage . I had been playing the drums since about the age of three . I received my vintage drum set as a gift from my grandfather the late Mr. Alfred Aguirre at the age of five . From then on the years would fly by . After years of sitting in with my fathers band and alot of begging . My father hired me as full time drummer at the tender age of Thirteen . For twelve and a half years I stayed with him . Those years were the best . In 2006 my father the late Mr. Alan Aguirre passed on . Since then I have embarked on my own career . By 2006 I had already adopted other instruments into my gift of music . I am a Drummer , full percussionist and flutist . Specializing in live performances, I have had the honor sharing the stage and playing with many of the greats world renown . Famous folk from the fifties , sixties , seventies etc. None of this would be possible with out my fathers influence . Some of the famous folk I had met in my early days through my father . Of course without my mother none of this would be possible either . My moms cousins are also a major influence from beginning to the present.
