Audaci’s (pronounced “Odyssey”) name describes him perfectly. The music he creates is an exploration into one’s own soul. He is always explaining how his words are his therapy and the music he joins to his words is the bridge he needs to bring it to the masses.
Surrounded by music as a child, playing the clarinet and alto saxophone, he also loved writing lyrical poetry since he was ten years old. It made perfect sense for him to take up rapping in May of 2002. He stumbled into it, almost by accident. He had moved into a home where he met an underground hip-hop musician who taught him the history and fundamentals of rap. Only four months later, he hit the ground running. Working against the grain and hearing from those around him that he was dreaming, he continued to hone his craft. He was using his past and his own life experiences to fuel his lyrics and his music. In 2010, he started performing and realized from fan feedback, the level he was on. The idea of actually making it professionally in the music industry was finally coming into fruition. From then on, he’s been working towards that goal. He brings an intricate feel to old school style rap lyrics. He doesn’t just want a sick beat running behind his voice.
