My BIO: Pressure Point A.K.A. P-Dot, A.K.A. P. Point, A.K.A. “Point” This journey starts for me at the age of nine years old!! I started playing in the percussion section in my grade school band at West Ridge Elementary School in Racine, Wisconsin. I mainly played the drums. I think that’s when I first fell in love with music. Matter of fact I know it was. By the age of twelve years young I wrote my first rap song titled Living in Racine. At the time an Auntie of mine (my mother’s sister), Mrs. Bettie Ruffin-Jackson, started liking my music. A boyfriend of my aunties at the time had a band and he called Himself Managing Me. He taught me the very important things in the music business. He taught me the correct way to breathe while recording music. After that, the engagement fell through rather quickly. I formed a childhood group with a friend of mine Allen Show (B-Love). We called ourselves “The Untouchables”. Back in those days my stage name was “Shorty Groove”, but people called me “Shorty G” for short. We made music together all throughout middle school at Starbuck Middle School in Racine, Wisconsin. As a member of the group “The Untouchables”, we did various talent shows in the hood. We did the Juneteenth Shows as well. Our school had a music program. We did a couple of concerts for our school through the music program but I felt like I had to have more.
