Christopher Newman is an alumni of the infamous Tower Records Lower East Side NY location. Primarily a bassist, he cut his teeth with several top-billed NY based rock bands, most notably with doom-metal legends The BLOOD FARMERS, who are well documented on the internet. He scored/penned his first digital hit "Im In Love With A Vampire Girl", with metallers VON MUNSTER, which remained in the top-ten for several weeks on MP3.com. A long-time fan of electronic/ambient/soundtrack music, Newman's current project CRYPTON RADIO CLUB quickly gained top-ten status on Reverb Nation' electronica charts. Newman offers up exceptional melodies, genre blending and synth/programming skills with an un-naturally high creative output.
