Jara is a Pop-Rock musician and songwriter from San Diego, California, USA. In his solo endeavor, Jara shows off a soulfully emotive voice and deep musical rhythms. One could describe his able-vocal range as having a smooth and strong sound with a high level of controlled pitch and vibrato. As a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Jara's passion and dedication has clearly come through in his writing, voice, guitar, bass, piano/keyboards, and ukulele. Accompanying Jara's vocal and instrumental prowess is his ability to write muti-textured, richly-diverse melodies, along with impactive lyrics that the listener can both relate to and will elicit quandary. This heartfelt music is honest, and performed with a feel-good groove that you'll find infectious.
It is Jara's multifaceted musical abilities that have garnered him such great respect amidst musicians and his dedicated fanbase, in addition to his dynamic stage presence. Jara's stylistically diverse voice has provided him the opportunity to work with bands outside of his characteristic Pop-Rock sound and into the realms of Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, and even Melodic-Metalcore. Jara is also a member of the acclaimed Melodic-Hardcore group Before The Flood, providing powerfully-hitting 'clean vocals' aside his co-vocalist screamer. Prior, he was similarly enlisted into the underground heavy-hitters Thy Kingdom Come and I Am Ocean. He has guested with the likes of Alt.-Hip-Hop artist BMB and Alternative/Emo band Badwolf.
