Singing has always been the one thing that has brought me joy and contentment in life. Growing up listening to a lot of singer/songwriters inspired me to write myself, which I started in high school. But like a lot of other artists, I found the rock and roll lifestyle empty and impersonal and full of traps that led to destruction, rather than life. Finding that that life was destroying me, I made a last ditch effort at life by giving myself over to Christ in 1984. From that point on my path, my songs and my life have changed as I began to allow God in and live the life that He created for me. The songs I write are a reflection of my struggle, surrender, the people I've met along the road, and the infinite healing and mercy I have received from a Father God who loves us all.
