Bay Area Native, Cyrena, has been sharing her singing/songwriting talent since the sweet age of 8. As a solo singer, Cyrena has performed all over California and Reno, Nevada at numerous Filipino-American concerts, fashion shows, charity events, talent competitions and other various functions, representing her multiracial background of Filipino, Spanish, and Polish. She has opened for well-known Filipino artists and was also showcased on the Jenny Jones show in 1997 as a young talent. Cyrena also started her catalogue of original songs starting with "Me Loves You" when she was only 9 years old, and knew it wouldn't just stop there.
In 1999, she impressed Sony Music CEO, Tommy Mattola, who immediately signed her to Epic Records. With the help of song producer, Robbie Nevil (Babyface, Jessica Simpson, Disney's Hannah Montana & High School Musical), her original, “Get Used To This” was featured on the soundtrack to Sony Pictures’ movie, “Center Stage” in 2000. Cyrena has also recorded with top producers Itaal Shur (Smooth - Santana, Rob Thomas) and Cory Rooney (Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Destiny's Child).
After taking a break from the mainstream industry to focus on school and family, Cyrena's looking forward to continuing her music career by collaborating with hot producers and other artists in the ElectroPop/R&B music scene and making hit songs with her fierce vocals and tight hooks, melodies & lyrics to connect with and inspire all generations, old & new!
