Kydd-Strumentalz(better known as Kydd) is an inspired, independent composer who goal is to succeed like no other. Born October 26, 1986 as Brandon Jerell Harris he fell in love with music at the age of 4(1990) observing his father on his keyboard and functioning a mini MCP. By the age of 7(1993) he was mentored learning to play the piano and reading music sheets. About a year later he mastered playing by ear and started to perform in school talent shows and for the youth choir of his church. By that time he realized with more time and experience, he could actually pursue a career with his talent. Therefore he continued with his music tutoring sessions striving for greatness.
In 2001, Kydd was finally introduced to MTV :Music Generator as his first beat making program. He was so excited that he stayed up constitantly syncing drum loops from the program to the melodies from his piano. He would have a cassette player in hand on the way to school letting others hear the creations made that night. It wasn't long until he was introduced to a program named Fruity Loops. Thats the main program he uses, even today.
Thou he was getting a small fan base on Myspace from songs performed off his production, it wasn't 'til 2009 he decided to expand futher. Around this time he was entering "beat battles" around the Atlanta area networking with names like Roscoe Dash, Kollosus, Criss Cross, Lil Scrappy and Lil Dade from Slip 'n Slide records. Thinking this was his opportunity, Kydd continued to push forward thou no placements ever got established until 2012. He produced a track named "Finnese" ft Kollosus on Young Throwback's "Secret Sauce" mixtape. After that he hasn't had recent placements, so he began seeking knowlegde from known producers like Luney Tunez, D.R.U.G.S., Hittman Traxx, Klassik Beatz and NB. Even so he's been doing music basically his whole he realizes the task at hand and is willing to put his all into becoming a successful producer to all following artists in today's industry.
