Morris Records was founded by Chris Morris/MC Slim in August of 2011. Morris Records celebrated 7 years as a record label on August 26th, 2018. Morris Records celebrates the 8 year anniversary of the founding of Morris Records in August 2019. Volume 1-5 are currently available, Volume 6 and Volume 7 will be released soon, Morris Records will also be releasing new projects in 2019. The first series of Volume 1-7 are compilation cds featuring Hip Hop/R&B from local artists from Detroit.
