George Deveaux, an inspirational gospel artist blending the old world content from the renaissance period with the post-modern gospel movement. Writing and preforming for four decades now, primarily in Canada but also in some out of the way places such as Vietnam, Africa, Kabul and Kandahar Afghanistan. Climbing in the national and international chart ratings he's currently receiving regular airplay on hundreds of radio stations in Canada and the USA.
Having grown up preforming in a family band "The Singing "D" Family" playing dance halls, shows and opening acts George developed his style under the influences of Gordon Lightfoot and Jim Croce. As a result people find it easy to relate to his unique style and sound of inspirational gospel as timeless, thought provoking and fun.
George brings an authentic credibility crossing traditional genre boundaries in contemporary, new country and gospel. At a time when gospel music has become mainstream repetitive getting back to the basics is a breath of fresh air.
