Emerging out of Illinois, the group started after a short demo in late 2011 and gathered the rest of it's members over the next year. The group implements various styles involving a progressive element surrounded by an ambient feel with a touch of distortion. The goal of the band is to relate a sense of empathy reaching deeper into the existence of what it means to be conscious. We all have certain experiences and music is one of the most profound ways of relating empathy. Programmable Animal intends to reach out to like-minded individuals and those who enjoy what we create. Music is to be shared and that is our desire.
The group uses many different synthetic sounds to create a genre staying true to the nature of originality.
