Alisha D. Collins was born on September 17, 1988 in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Her mother a college graduate and a father that is musically incline instilled in her and her older brother that it's always good to express yourself, and her easy way of expression was through music. In the summer of 2000 Ali D and her family moved to Jacksonville, NC and months later to Wilmington, NC. Family has been there ever since. In a course of 12 years, Ali has found God and accepted her calling as a musician. She has played in churches and released her first gospel instrumental album entitled, "Meditation." It was an successful first step.
