Gary grew up in south louisiana the son of preacher man . After learning to play the drums at a early age he moved on to mastering the bass guitar where he played with dozens of churches across Louisiana and Mississippi. In 2009 he competed in the Fox network 's American Idol season 9 but the challenge of Idol didnt stop him . in 2011 he played frums in the Rusty Meyers Band till the group Disbanded in late 2011 .. Since then he has been covering some traditional Country Music and Working with fellow Musican/singer /songwriter's on a new project coming soon !!! .
