He was surrounded by Irish Celtic music for the entirety of his youth which infused an Irish twist into his music, naturally. WiLkshAkE played guitar, drums, bass and sang with numerous punk rock bands ("The Culprits", "Futon Coughin", and "Sponge Cookie") throughout his adolescence. As WiLkshAkE grew into a man, he realized the potential of himself pursuing a career as a solo artist. WiLkshAkE toured and played shows as a solo guitarist. Along his solo travels, he ran into "This Dark Empire Records" with whom he made his first Solo record "Broken Bone Poetry" in 2006. WiLkshAkE released numerous works of music after this record and also began to be managed by the RPTLN Agenda. RPTLN directed WiLkshAkE to work on his lyrics and beat making skills to further his opportunity as an underground elite collaborative artist. Releasing Lyrical Fitness in 2008, followed by The Spitboss Kin Mixtapes in 2009, 2011 and 2012, WiLkshAkE has ventured deep into the world of Collaborative Hip Hop.
