I'm a pretty modest guy, but I'm selfish about my music styling. I could care less about appeasing other people or making music that the masses will enjoy. I make music for myself first. If you so happen to enjoy it, great. If you don't, I don't mind. I'm known for mixing styles and genres. Half way through a classical song, if my mood changes, I might end up adding a shredding 20 second e.guitar solo. My songs can go from aggressive to calm and back again in less than three minutes. Each song can take about a week or two to complete, so day by day my inspiration sways with my general outlook. If I'm angry or sad, happy, or bored, it vastly effects the music I make. Many times, I'll start out composing a song feeling ecstatic. It'll have a nice, upbeat nature and perky instruments. Two days later, I might come back and be completely bored. I'll stay within the general tune of the song, but start adding experimental noise effects and odd instruments to the mix. Two days later, I may come back and be upset, so I'll add a metal or rock theme to it; a shredding guitar solo, and crazy drums. You never know which direction my songs will take. Hell, I don't know either. I do keep it together for a song here-and-there. I have a few orchestral tracks where I really try to stay in-tune with the feel of the genre. Lacking that, it's clear I must have some form of A.D.D.
