Born in the Queen City of Charlotte, NC, Adam Miller was raised and inspired by his grandmother. Adam’s first love was basketball the sport that he played at South Mecklenburg High School. Adam attended Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga where he majored and graduated with a B.A. in Sociology as well as being Captain of the basketball team his senior year. It was there that Hip Hop and the love for music grew. Hooking up with Keith Harrison, Alex Smalley, Troy Dandridge and Lindsay McGruder they for a fantastic five called Soul on Ice. The style of Soul on Ice is compared to De la Soul while still remaining unique in sound.
Admiring cats like Common, Talib Kweli and the Roots, Adam, a.k.a. 21SouL, often referred to as “The Technician” for his ability to hook up phat beats and rhymes. The music of 21SouL is not your usual brand of hip hop, it rains a message of positivity a sound very rarely heard in most hip hop. “I want people to know and understand that you can have fun with hip hop in a positive way and enjoy doing it.” This is hip hop music for the future.
