In the heart of Spanish Harlem also known as "El Barrio" the sounds of everyday life harmonized through the streets. Within that neighborhood a young child named Turenne "Tunes" Renaud jr. was born. Later moving to Astoria , queens Tony soon was introduced to hip hop, specifically Wu-Tang on the album 36 Chambers, with its hard hitting drums and intricate lyrics . After that day he Knew music would be his passion. In 1999, Tony "Tunes" began djing and in 2000 moved on to music production with his purchase of the Korg Trition. He began to work with local artists from queens including bigger names such as Ty Nitty, G.O.D and Big Twin from Infamous Mob.
Now with 10 years of experience under his belt and a strong catalog Tunes has developed his own style to compliment today's up and coming artists. His hard hitting drums and harmonizing chords have evolved into this genuine style or better yet melodic sound.
