Singer, songwriter and performer, Stephanie Soul was born as Stephanie Nicole West in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Stephanie, the youngest of 11 siblings love for music started very early. Her first performance was at the age of three, where she sung, Greatest Love of All, by Whitney Houston. Since then she has shared her love for music to anyone who opens their heart to receive her soulful melodies.
Stephanie is inspired by her mother, who is also a vocal performer. Her mother shares her stories of being on stage and all the love she received from her fans. She can remember her mother saying, “Stephanie when you sing, I want you to sing from your soul, give the people all of you. She held on to those words that her mother shared with her, and used it to touch the souls of many people with her voice and her compassionate heart.
In 2002, she relocated to North Carolina, where she began recording her first gospel album, Set Me Free. She moved to Germany in 2005 where she began touring throughout Europe. Whether it was a festival, live blues house, or a charity event, she was always eager to get involved. While in Germany she volunteered to teach a vocal performance class to middle school students. She has always felt the importance of giving back to our youth.
Stephanie is now living in Okinawa, Japan with her husband and daughter, and has made a number of appearances throughout Okinawa. She has opened up for Sean Paul, Lil Scrappy, KC and JoJo, Trina, Lloyd, Gorilla Zoe and Fabo. She was also is the winner of the Fox Summer bash event.
