I've been in the Army for the last 15 years or so. I have been playing music since about the 5th grade. I picked up my first guitar in 7th grade. It was a Peavy 4-string bass pawnshop special. Started playing guitar in about 9th grade, and the drums about 8 years ago. I make attempts at vocals. I played in a band in high school and part of college before joining the Army and getting married. Since then I have been writing songs non stop. Most of them are about my real life experiences through two deployments, a divorce, the suicide of a close relative and hope for the future.
