Bunson & Beaker Beats is a production duo from Omaha, NE consisting of FrEkwensE and Phlame. The duo began work together in 2001 with FrEkwensE rapping and songwriting and Phlame producing and engineering. The duo began to earn respect locally even receiving airplay on the city's 2 largest urban radio stations. The duo performed and recorded three projects together one of which was released in stores locally and eventually attracted the attention of a major record label. Although they were never signed the duo embarked on one final project before parting ways. During this time period Phlame began producing and recording various local acts and earned a reputation as not only a skilled producer, but as a highly sought after engineer. Phlame built a list of credits as not only a producer, but as an engineer having worked with a great many acts both in and around Omaha. FrEkwensE on the on the other hand traded in the mic for a full time position behind the boards and began drawing attention as a producer and songwriter, earning placements on both the local and National independent circuits. Flash forward to 2011. FrEkwensE and Phlame with their numerous independent accomplishments thought it better to link back up to form a team that would take their unique individual sounds and combine them into something bigger and more profound. Enter Bunson & Beaker Beats. The duo is back together and with a sound so incredibly big and dynamic that the industry will be forced to take notice
