Singer, actress, author, composer, director and conductor born in New York City, USA. She started singing at three years. Daughter and grandson Art (Joe Henderson tenor sax) after a thorough study of classical music and jazz is dedicated to singing in a variety of styles including jazz, blues, soul, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, funk, dance- disk, country / western, pop, gospel and international variety. She sang with many jazzmen Low, Cerri, Lanza, Loffredo, Malaguti, Munari, Rosa, Rosciglione, Sanjust, Sboto, Scoppa, Santucci, Antonello Vannucchi his musical director, Jimmy Owens, Bobby Durham and others. As a director and artist, she staged MARTIN LUTHER KING, Jr.: A MOVEMENT CALLED FREEDOM six times, a musical on struggle against discrimination in the U.S.. Then she created THE EBONY DIVA, a tribute to the great female figures of Jazz: Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Washington, star of the evening. The world premiere was presented in Lucca. She was presenter for Radio Grooveline Micca Club, webcast radio show on Radio City 97.7 FM Futura. CURRENT She is currently working on part 2 º CD MY TURN with M ° Vannucchi where there is over 26 + original songs. Then there is Martin Luther King, Jr.: A Movement Called Freedom, MY TURN THE MUSICAL, a tribute to Jazz Divas of 1900 and their dedication to Gospel music and praise. She presents a program of blues, jazz classics, Latin Jazz, Gospel, spirituals, Christmas music, movie music (Umiliani, other) and a new Hammond organ project with two horns, bass, drums and vocals. In her collaboration with Antonello Vannucchi, they started touring abroad to follow new projects. New products included the disc as a tribute to Nicola Arigliano titled Dear Nicola where there is a duet Beverly and Michele Maisano, famous singer from Liguria. Lewis is also at work to create the BLAV brand with their Wearable Musik line of accessories.
