Plug’d Up Music LLC is a new Detroit-based music management company established in 2012 by Raphael Wright, who serves as the company’s CEO. Plug’d Up Music’s first task is to become a viable machine to advance the careers local hip hop and R&B artists (new and established) in the Detroit area, and then reach beyond.
Plug’d Up Music’s first act is a new, up and coming Detroit rapper Joe N.O.V.A, who is behind the thought provoking promo song White Rapper Anthem (I’m Not M&M), a song that airs out the struggles of white rappers trying to established themselves in the predominantly African American sport of hip hop. Joe N.O.V.A’s debut musical project, The D.E.M.O. Tape: Basement Music, which is out now.
Plug’d Up Music is a home for the artist/ record label who truly cares about the music and its impact to the world. Plug’d Up Music is for the authentic person expressing an authentic lifestyle, while seeking the ears of authentic listeners.
