Rest and Repeat was birthed from 2 men making a decision to get back in shape and wanting to stick with it. Upon investigation, we discovered that there really was no good music out there that designed specifically for the purpose of lifting weights and exercise. Sure, you can find remixed 80s songs, listen to Lady Gaga, Tool, or whatever floats your boat. But REST and REPEAT is ENGINEERED FROM THE GROUND UP FOR ONE SPECIFIC PURPOSE.
After nearly a year of focus testing and developement, I am almost 30 pounds lighter(currently 10 pounds over target weight), displace over 6,000 pounds every bench press session, quit smoking almost entirely (ok one or 2 a month, but i was a 15 year veteran), and i can't even descibe how much better i feel. My counterpart is in the same catagory of progress too, and he will be more than excited to describe hes own personal triumphs.
Rest and Repeat is more than excercise music- it has a drive that's all around motivational. You put it on and see people bobbing their heads and moving without even realizing it. People have said it's great driving music- great trimming music- great yard work music- great club music (wait till we release vol 2 lol...)- great dance music.
The Vol 1 album is configured as the first 4 tracks aerobic which is about 20 minutes, and after that the BPMs slow to a weight lifting pace, with 4 song peak-valley cycles. Try it for a couple weeks and tell me it's not hard to put down!
