Hello my name is Nigel...i am a beatmaker from Long Island, New York. I have been making beats for 7 years...I started making beats on hip hop ejay..then i moved to fruity Loops and Reasons. I prefer fruity Loops because its easy to work with and i have put in alot of time and effort to learn how to properly use the software...although i still believe i have a far way to go as a beatmaker. At a young age i wasnt into rap, i was into that 90's rnb...i was always listening ti r kelly, SWV, Boyz to Men, Jodeci, but that all changed in 97 when i heard Busta Rhymes bussa Buss beat...then Dave Kelly who is a well known Jamaican producer came out with the Bug Riddim in 98(look it up on youtube)..that was it son...i have a few pasions in life and music is one of them, aint nothing to me like a phat ass and phat bassline. Making a beat isnt simple it takes alot of research and alot of creativity and a whole lot of effort, alot of good producers know this.
