And that is the philosophy of this four piece jazz-funk band: everyone is connected by the funk. Standing on the shoulders of giants – such as Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, Jimmy Smith, and The Meters – this quartet keeps the music “real” by studying and practicing traditional, groove oriented standards while their improvisation adds a fresh and intimate sound.
