Mindi Kilty : Lyrical miracle
I am 38 I began singing at age 2 self taught as I got older I began writing songs, and they were always more mature than my age.
Because it's what I loved doing and I loved to share them, at a very young age, music was always the one thing through all my struggles in life that nobody could ever take away. I was always able to connect to people in a way like I have never seen any other way, I had a very hard life but music has always been there to help me through. I can listen and I get certain feelings and words just come to me if I connect with it.
I am a published poet and author, I, am an artist in many forms, but music is what has always rung true within me I could always make lyrics with nothing but a tune in my head, and I was never able to play an instrument so I began using other peoples music and I found I could make songs very quickly in minutes to a couple hours just by listening to an instrumental.
My goal in life is to sing and write lyrics and I will never give up. I have a connection to people through music like nothing I have ever known and I am not only grateful but I am appreciative and I love what I do.
Some of my favorite artists are Wynonna Judd, Johnny Reid, and Norah Jones
