solpowa was raised in the home of the blues memphis,tn. started doing music at age 10 playing drums and djing. moved to denver colorado at age fifteen with mother after playing drums for the church he attend for a couple of years. here he met the friends that would form the first group he was in outside of TN. after the move to colorado things started to grow doing shows with wu tang ,tribe called quest, mix master mike,common , planet asia, nas just to name a few. with local succesfull albums like LOWBUDGET SOUL 2006 hip-hop compilation of the year DENVER WESTWORD and THE REVOLUSHUN 2005 hip hop album of the year DENVER WESTWORD. solpowa has been one of denver's most successful hip hop producers and mc. in 2007 he moved to california with the band yo flaco and hasnt looked back since producing for the like of yukmouth jayo felony and nipsey hussle just to name a few so open your mind and your heart for solpowa a man with talent vision and determination
