Born in Tilburg; three brothers and two sisters.
Married to Yvonne.
One son and two grandsons.
I do not write songs, but I create melodies and build the songs around them. I perform them on my Yamaha Tyros keyboard. The basics were given to me by Jan Kollee when I was 12 years of age. He taught me the love for music.
Music was all around me my whole life through. Herited from my father and mother, but I was mainly self-supportive.
I went to high school and afterwards I got a job in the sales office of a factory producing sugar lollipop machines, where we were very successful.
Now I am retired, but still creating melodies and thus songs.
Besides of that I really love singing. As a soloist but also in a men’s choir called Weerter Mannenkoor and a mixed choir named Creatura, where I sometimes may perform as soloist too. Besides of that I am a conductor of a choir of demented elderly people, who give me a lot of good vibes.
