The group was first called 4real. The original manager of the group was Al B. better known as Al Cash. The members where jeff..pearl..rich..ebo..kenneth. The sound was born. After a year or so ebo left the group for unknown reasons. Four just didn't seem right. We could always just lay the backgrounds down in the studio but our big thing was sounding good live. Full background and harmony. In comes Jamie. Jeff and Rich had known Jamie for over 10 years when they all grew up in the same church. Jeff and Rich have known each other for over 25 years. They where a duo growing up. Jeff would sing and play the piano and Rich would sing. Now with Jeff..RIch..Pearl..Kenneth and Jamie we would change our name to Two5th or 125th street. Upon Hooking up with Fly Tye from Cold Chillin Records we where able to secure a deal with Sony. The Group had big plans so we needed a bigger management team. In comes Winston from the black expo. Fly Tye from CC records and the late Mr Magic.
WMW would be the management company now. We did every show that you could've imagined at that time. Apollo. Esso (mad wednesdays). Sweetwaters The Village Gate and I could go on and on. On down to everything on 125th street. If there was a club in harlem we sang there. Listen to our sound.... Thanks for listening.
