I am a blues harp player and vocalist.Most of my bands stuff is in the classic rock and blues venue. I prefer heavier blues myself. The songs lyrics I write is about real life and observing those around me. At times I look at my own life and put it down into words. This song "How Long" is one of those observations in life. Watching people suffer in turmoil and misery as to the way they let others treat them. The words apply not only to women in distress but also to men going through similar pain.
