D.O.E.M Gritty is an acronym for “dope on every mic”. The savvy phrase is used to describe the lyrical talent of the artist commonly known as D*Gritty. Originally from Jersey City,NJ, currently living in the north of Atlanta area, D*Gritty often battles between the sounds of the north and south without losing any part of his individualism. And with the sound of music changing so frequently, its imperative to stay in tune and remain relevant in what goes on throughout the world in regards to music and life in general. And with that being said, D*Gritty combines hot lyrics with today’s sound to give the public a great taste of the future.
Granted he may be solidly known for his lyrical abilities, D*Gritty has also been known to display his many other talents in creative beats where he’s commonly referred to as Heat Myzah, and some productions circumventing film/video edits. “ I never really had a problem finding producers that showed interest and was willing to work with me. I just occasionally find myself missing a certain feeling or sound in several tracks I come across, so I figured that I should just make my own, that way, I could never become limited on the amount of music I could make.” Being versatile is a rare quality that many artist lack. So making up with that in different fields of the industry, keeps Gritty climbing the ladder on a path towards success.
