Born in Paris on 1992 and 1994, the Marsad Men made their music debut at 12, over a downmarket Yamaha synth, starting to learn Bach's Toccata and Fugue with no other help but the piano sheet and their common passion. Growing up listening to a whole variety of genres : rock, hip-hop, jazz, but also afghani music, classical and baroque music, they tried ever since to reproduce the melodies on their synth which ended up out of order after being carried anywhere during several years.
Throughout the years, one's taste progressively differed from the other's. One became more interested in ethnic, baroque and classical music, while the other spent his spare time listening to US hip-hop ; and both finally ended up understanding that music is a whole, and that the mix of these different genres allowed them to create a particularly original music using the qualities of each style.
While one is more centred on chants, danse and the percussive side, the other comes with melodies which his brother mix, so he can use at the same time both of their contributions. This complicity between these two brothers allows each of them to get a lot of pleasure with music, to find themselves, and to share moments for their biggest pleasure and for those of whom listen to them.
