Greater Boston native; Broadway Jay has a style he can call his own. Growing up in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Broadway has been subjected to an array of diversity. Ranging from: religion to social classification. Broadway has a taste of inner-city as well as suburban living. Through his music Broadway paints vivid images of life experiences, aspirations and dreams. Broadway recently release a free album "Chapter 25" available on datpiff.com. This is his first full length project. You will often hear Broadway use the adlib "L.I.G.H.T.S" in his songs. "L.I.G.H.T.S" is an acronym for Living In Great Heights Through Status. The meaning behind the phrase is simple. It is a statement of self worth/value and creating your own destiny.Broadways style combines his relatable nature with lyrical ability and wit. Heavily influenced by the likes of: The Notorious B.I.G, Slick Rick, Jay-Z, Kanye West, The Clipse, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Curren$y and Joe Budden; Broadway has a knack for telling stories of personal life experiences and situation through his rhymes. Writing has always been a hidden talent/passion of Broadway.
