Tempo Alegre was created by the band's music director, jose G. Abreu to provide the highest quality entertainment to Latin music lovers. The band, containing 7 members, plays a variety of Latin styles including merengue, bachata and salsa. Tempo Alegre's first all original single "Dejate Querer," released in the Summer of 2014, is a hot merengue in a style similar to that of merengues from the late 1980s and early 1990s. Tempo Alegre performs regularly for wedding and other private celebrations as well as festivals, night clubs, and other public events.
