The artist Young Jig born on November 16th, 1985 at Community Hospital in San Bernardino CA, as Cedric Tyree Simmons Jr. Raised in a single parent house hold with his mother and two younger siblings he was brought up in the streets and had to learn and grow up fast to help raise his younger brothers james and jamari simmons in support of his mother suprena cole. He was drawn to the street life with the drugs, money and music which enticed him. While tryin to keep his head on straight he continued through school, at the age of 17 realizing that his street life wasn't the best influence he decide to take his passion for music to the next level from listening and admiring to writing and rapping. Collaborating with fellow family members and friends who also shared his same passion his talent and ambition continued to grow. After the achievement of him graduating high school his dream was to take his passion, determination, hard work, and dedication for music into the music industry.
While trying to keep a steady job to support himself he still continued to write, record, and collaborate with fellow artist and in hope to one day reach his dream. A strong lyricist with a profound song and rap writing ability here he is present day Young JiG Ready to show the world what he work so hard for.

Well as you might know or might not know i just signed a distribution deal with miracle west ent. and we r about to get it poppin young jig's way so stay tuned continue to support ya boy and know all the love and support is very much appreciate it. And dont forget the new album will be dropping on the 22nd of this month called "The Heart Of The Streets" so look out for it alright.
