Invidia Veins are a five piece melodic metalband from Sweden.
The band was formed by David (Davey) Christner in late 2009, and it was first considered as a side project. In the beginning the band was deeply influenced by the metal gods Judas Priest, but as times and lineup changed, the music also changed direction and became a little more complex and melodic. After some crappy demo recordings of old songs and a few gigs later, the band started to work on their very first EP - Dark Materials, which are planned to be released sometime in early Oktober 2011.
