The journey begins with MelRog navigating deftly from R&B to Jazz and back again. While loyal listeners will quickly recognize that they've been over his familiar terrain before, smooth jazz fans will undoubtedly find MELROG veering more deeply into rhythm-and-blues territory as he keeps a steady balance of both. He gets things going right from the start with his smooth vocals warmly inviting us to hop aboard on Sweet Pretty. The journey picks up pace as it works it's way through the jazzy DeMood, before stepping it up with CitiLites 3000 the CD's curiously aerobic-paced mover. Playfully he steers listeners through pleasing melodic ballads on Remember When... before adding backbone to the upbeat on Luv-U-Now while saving the best for last Sok-N-Wet.
