Brittney Reed is one of the newest artists emerging into the country music Industry.
At just 16, this brown eyed girl has started a career that includes vocals, acoustic guitar and writing songs. Since the age of 12 Brittney has written over 100 of her own songs, and has helped other artists rewrite their songs. Her first single, ''picture this '' was released in the United States and internationally in 2009.
Brittney has performed in many shows including performances in Tulsa Oklahoma and Baton Rouge Louisiana. In May of 2007 she was a featured artist on the Morning Show in Clovis, New Mexico.
Brittney was inspired to pursue her professional singing career in 2006 after singing with her mother Tonya, and was encouraged by many of her friends to go further with her music. Brittney began by singing for friends and took on the initiative to learn the acoustic guitar and writing her own songs while being a full-time home schooled student.
Her lyrics are inspired by her life, the life of her friends and the many people she meets while touring around the country. Brittney's music appeals to all ages, she is currently in pre-production with Tracy Willson on a debut release at 4 the Record Studio in Houston, Texas. The album is due for release in the fall of 2010.
In addition to her busy recording schedule, Brittney looks forward to completing her album, and performing at more live venues in the near future. Radio releases, video's and visiting some of the reporting Radio stations are all in the plans.
