Is an American writer/ spoken word performer/ Hip Hop Artist. His style is an in your face, agressive reality check that beckons universal truths and self-reflection. Though influenced by artists like Rakim, KRS-1, BlackStarr, Jay-Z, Joe Budden, Marvin Gaye and Frankie Beverley and Maze, there can be no comparison to any of them.
In 2007, he was a semi-finalist on Loud.com's rap competition. Islati left such a positive imprint on other artists in the Loud community that it became a mission to amplify the same effect to the rest of the world. His motto "Good People Stick Together" is the testament to his encouragement towards the unity of good people - a selfless and much needed movement in hip hop.
Through his swarming lyrics and the valor of his ambition, IslatiTheRevo truely lives up to his name: Isolated Revolution....for his indeed one person trying to change the world.
