Born Arkeem Coleman Hopper now known as "Keem The Dream" was born December 2,1991 in York ,South Carolina to his parents Ida Thompson and Coleman Hopper with 2 older brothers.At 5 Keem The Dreams parents split apart .At the age of 6 Keem The Dream began to develop his rhythm for music when his mother Ida Thompson bought him a drum set for his birthday.At the time his brothers Money Mon and Taybo w...as into rap music.One day Keem The Dream wrote a song but it was too gangsta for his image because he was only 6 so his brother Money Mon taught him how to write a positive song and both his brothers and mother supported him alot. Keem The Dream became the hottest young rapper in his age group in South Carolina.At age 7 Keem The Dream was diagnosed with diabeties but that didnt slow him down.He kept doing music.From age 7 to 11 Keem The Dream witnessed alot of things to be his age. Keem The Dream was witnessing males in his family including his brothers catch charges that were not petty,shootouts,and a robbery.Keem The Dream first started rapping about stuff he had seen but it was too much for his age group.Keem The Dream became a positive rapper with a street swagger.
