Splitting time between her native home of Paris France and Senegal Africa, Fama was brought up in a multicultural environment influenced by African beats, European sounds and listening to famous icon like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder to name a few.
Fama was always attracted by the artistic world, she starting acting, dancing, and soon enough realized a passion for singing. She then joined a girl’s band named “Elegance” but after a year the group fell apart.
In comes famed French DJ Franck Dona, who saw a great potential in Fama as an singer and together with his partner they worked on an music project labels were not interested at that time by the kind of sound they were bringing up for her.
Fama went forward and joined a gospel choir "BMS" (Black Music School), this is where she began to polish her craft, she finally found a way to express herself and discovered her love for piano, therefore she started to involve herself more and more into the creative process and started to produce her own music. After performing with the choir, collaborating with other artists, she decided to take it to another level and went to New York City.
New York was the beginning of a big journey; It is in 2010, that everything changed, she met again in New York with Franck Dona, and from there on they started working on her Ep.
