Luke Productions Ltd. (LPL) was established in Trinidad during July 2002 by Richard A.J. Smith primarily as a vehicle to promote the songs he wrote around that time. Subsequently the operations were expanded to include the works of new and other lesser known artistes so as to provide them with some degree of exposure, so needed in this field of business. Included also is LPL's very own recording label - Luke Label. In this regard CD's, etc. are produced under this said Luke Label. The word Luke was chosen for this Production Company as this was the name of his second son and it was deliberately used so as to encourage him to get interested in the business. That strategy has worked because Luke went on to study Sound Engineering in the USA.
Since College abroad to study Sound Engineering, Luke met Ishmael Levi and Cory Sands. Their profound passion for music motivated them to work together to create a new Era of music entertainment. Their individual strengths combined helps produce exceptional music to extend across all genres. Luke Production Ltd, is now known as Luke Productions Entertainment(Ent.). Producing quality productions without compromising commercial appeal is the Mission of this company. They are a group of talented and innovative producers that have a deep and thorough understanding of a diverse range of genres and have since used their abilities to provide artist and listeners alike with an enjoyable and unforgettable musical experience.
