An author of songs, and a player of guitar, I love to perform live - sitting in with others, playing backup licks. This is particularly fun when I don't know the other players and have never heard the song. Brings out the 'watch and listen intently' in me.
My experience doing live sound and studio engineering and production have taught me a lot about how music is formed and performed.
