I have listened to the dance music scene for quite a while now but at first I was more interested in stuff like oasis and guns n roses before I actually liked drum&bass and other electronic music, so I played the guitar and had about 10 lessons within learning for it and in the end I felt I'd done enough to learn on my own, years later I'm glad I went for my lessons in something to do with a musical instrument first because I today understand musical tone better than I did, say if I never had the lessons. I also can play other instruments such as keyboards and piano but I've never gone for a lesson in that though. My interest when turned to mixing moved to producers that don't make much music now cos I've never seen any of the names again except for twisted individual, from my child hood record collection.I dont have a favourite mix either but If I dj'd one I'd choose my own, :D
I listen to alot of music on the internet and hear some people rock, others need abit of work but I would love to promote people and help they're music get released.
I dont watch tv so if the world changes in some way I'd be the last to know :D, if you want influence in music I would have to say Prodigy,Aphex Twin, in two words and influence 's such as Nirvana, foo fighters, etc...
The day I started producing music was 15 years ago so I hope it shows on my productions.
