I'm a super laid back sound engineer who lives in Perth, Scotland. I have an HND in Sound Production from Perth College. I have also been in two bands while in Perth.
The first was my own concoction, Mr Johnsons Two Second Memory. A tech metal attempt of a band. We struggled to perfect our songs and at one point only completed 3 songs in a year! Despite this, the songs we did produce were fairly satisfactory and of the 3 gigs we played as a band, they all went down fairly well, impressing those that did bother to listen.
The band eventually drifted apart due to members living in different areas, including Inverness, Perth and Glasgow, making it hard to get us all in one room at the same time.
The second band was Thoughts Decay (no live gigs) that never got beyond rehearsal stage unfortunately. Of the songs produced, there was potential.
I'm currently still writing more songs and playing guitar for when a full band is possible.
There are also various recording projects completed at college that showcase my abilities as a sound engineer, covering all aspects from recording and mixing, to mastering.
