Andy was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He loved music from a very early age. He started playing music at age 12, and joined his first band by age of 13. Andy has played all over the south, and has been fortunate to open and play shows with many major stars. Some of them are George Jones, Willie Nelson, Ray Price, Garth Brooks, Gene Watson, Keith Whitley, Travis Tritt, Joe Diffie, Johnny Paycheck, Freddy Fender, .......and many many others. Andy was lucky to be the last vocalist to tour with Don Helm's-Hank Sr.'s original steel guitar player. Andy also counts among the highlights of his musical life....getting to visit, and have dinner with Merle Haggard and his family at Merle's home in California.
