Masa Mane was born in Richmond, Va. He is owner and CEO of Feed Off Fear Ent. where he signed himself as the first rap artist to his recording company. Masa shared how he started in the music business. " I remember my first rap group that I was a member of called " The Golden Boyz " , when I was in the fifth grade . My stage name was ' Cooley C '. I just enjoyed everything that came with being an M.C. from writing songs to proforming them at talent shows or just in the neighborhood. I have two sisters and two brothers so my dad tried to do his Jackson Five thing with us . Naw I'm just joking but my dad love music too . He used to sing a lot and play all sorts of instruments that he would play around with us with . He had a set of drums , a keyboard , guitar , tambourines and everything . We had a lot of fun together with the music and thats why my dad played a big part in my life with music. Both of my brothers rap too and we will be releasing some music real soon ".
