Being from Detroit, Michigan the force and direction for Boosie came from living in a musical environment. Growing up only blocks from Motown Hits Ville USA has a powerful influence in the way I hear and see music. The vision and inspiration of Maurice “Boosie” Sav’age was shaped by some of the greatest talents, writers, producers, artist, and managers in our time. I was able to watch the standard and the commitment it takes to become an “ARTIST”. I was able to hear the greats give advice on what you must understand doing entertainment business. Equally, I was exposed to the working of a radio and television station. I learned from the Quiet Storm Disc Jockey on Detroit’s WGPR as a child. Watching this savvy radio personality conduct interviews gave me bonus insight on how to deal with the power positions.
