I enjoy most types of music judging the sounds by whether I like them and not confined to saying one variety of music is better than another. Oldies or modern if they're good are all enjoyable and timeless in their own way. A bit like people I suppose. Many varieties. I play guitar moderately well, not likening myself to expert level, but once again it's the joy gained from playing, not the skill level that really matters, Having said that, I hope you enjoy my songs. The very best to you with your own creations too.
